Ceresio Investors Private Markets | 2026

The fourth edition of Ceresio Investors Private Markets took place across two events, held in Milan at the Swiss Centre and in Lugano at Banca del Ceresio, bringing together more than 250 entrepreneurs, executives and investors to discuss the key challenges facing family-owned businesses as they pursue growth and long-term development.

Promoted by the Corporate Advisory & Investment Banking division of Ceresio Investors, led by Alessandro Santini, Group Executive Board Member and Head of Ceresio Investors Private Markets, the forum provides an opportunity to explore the issues shaping the future of entrepreneurial companies, including succession planning, governance, innovation, growth and access to capital.

ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS

The round table discussions, moderated by Professor Carmine Garzia (SUPSI and UNISG), provided a platform for direct dialogue among entrepreneurs and executives who have led companies through periods of growth, transformation and international expansion.

In Milan, Aldo Fumagalli, Chairman and CEO of SOL Group, and Angelo Mastrolia, Chairman of NewPrinces Group, shared their experience in building industrial groups capable of achieving sustainable growth through a long-term entrepreneurial vision.

In Lugano, Martin Balters, CEO of Sécheron, and Dario Pardi, CEO of Expert.ai, offered perspectives from companies operating in very different sectors and environments, highlighting the importance of governance, capital and managerial capabilities in addressing the challenges of growth and international competitiveness.

Throughout the discussions, it emerged that generational succession should not be viewed merely as a transfer of ownership, but rather as a pivotal opportunity to rethink governance structures, decision-making processes and growth strategies, creating the conditions to preserve and enhance corporate value over the long term.

The programme also featured a conversation between Giuseppe Paronetto, CEO of Alia Mentis, and Alessandro Santini, focusing on the initial developments observed in the months following the company's stock market listing, in which Ceresio Investors acted as Lead Manager.
